After 16 years of full-time Pastoral ministry the Lord called us as Missionaries to the Dominican Republic.

We founded Turn2 Ministires during our first term in 2018. In Isaiah 45:22 it says: "Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God and there is no other."

In baseball the double play is called "the pitchers best friend." A double play helps the defensive team get out of a difficult situation during the course of the game. Our purpose is to rescue those that are in difficult situations in life and Turn2 the one that can set them free and give them new life. By partnering with local churches we believe that lives, families, churches and communities will be forever changed by Turning2 Jesus!

Paul says in I Corinthians that we are to become All things to All people so that some may come to know HIM. Our Father has given us a dream and love for the DR. Over the years Father has given us a heart of Compassion for baseball players and their families. Families in the DR love baseball. Many see their baseball talents (their children's talents) as their Hope or ticket to a better life. Their hope is not in a little white ball but in the saving Grace of Jesus Christ! We desire to connect with families using baseball to build Relationships then share the Hope of Jesus with them, connecting them with their local established church for further discipleship. 

Our desire is to Reach, Restore and Release.  We want to Reach families and young people in the DR by using baseball as a tool of outreach.  We want to Restore their HOPE in the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ and then Release them to build the Kingdom of Heaven. 

To share the Hope & Compassion of Jesus through building Relationships with families in the Dominican Republic. You can join Team Tvedt a few different ways. Adison and Abi are finishing their final year at SAGU (Southwestern Assemblies of God University) they are both pursuing God's Call to Ministry with a degree in Church Leadership.
